#3 Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all our friends and family. We're getting there, still getting rid of all the 20 years of accumulated "stuff". Hope to be in warm weather this time next year. Working on the dream!

#2 UPDATE!

So I know it’s been a while since the last post, but we have been keeping busy working on our dream of Fulltiming in our Holiday Rambler Imperial. To let you know what’s going on, we have been sorting through 20+ years of accumulated items.
We made several trips to the local Salvation Army store and donated lots of clothes, shoes, VHS tapes, etc. if you remember what those are, lol.
I sold my table saw that my father gave to me before he passed away. It was bitter sweet parting with it, but it was to a friend who I know will be putting it to good use, and for a reasonable price, the extra money will help us to get closer to our dream.
We have so many things to sell, donate and just plain throw away that it is overwhelming at times, but we are driven to get this done. We were hoping to be on the road before winter but with all to be done it looks as if we may be spending another winter here in the north east (New Jersey) UGH!.

The snowy winters here are also a motivating factor. I’m certain I will be regretting not having getting more done come the first snowfall when I have to break out the snow shovel.

Looking forward to sunny days, year round warmer climates, less stress, and a new beginning to life!

I will try to make the posts more frequent from here on so please check back to see our progress. Feel free to comment, please keep it positive.

Thanks for checking in, till next time!

#1 Here we go to the fulltime rving lifestysle!

Here we are sitting at our dinner table, my wife and I have decided to get serious and change the way we are living our lives. Our children are grown and the nest is empty, so before we fly over the coo coo's nest we are hitting the road!
The challenge now is to figure out how we are ever going to get rid of all the items we have acquired over the past two decades, in order to pursue our dream of fulltiming. We have a lot of work ahead of us, our plans are to sell on Craigslist, give away as many items to friends and family, donate to Goodwill, and do as many yard sales as possible when the weather warms up here in the northeast. So we hope you will join us on our adventure and check back with us offten to see the progress we are making to our commitment to freedom. Thanks for stopping by.
